Waldport, OR — Oregon Coast Bank (OCB) recently promoted Operations Supervisor Jamie Moore to Assistant Vice President Operations Supervisor, reflecting Moore’s ongoing operational expertise as well as her personal commitment to customer service.
Moore, who works at the bank’s Waldport branch, provides training and support on operational procedures to tellers and supervisors at all bank locations, helping customer service representatives build strong relationships with the people they serve.
“I love the customer service role,” Moore said. “It’s not always easy, but I love being able to help people.”
Moore has lived in western Oregon since 1992. “I was raised here,” she said. “I’ve been here since I was eight.” She joined the OCB team in 2013 as a customer service representative, seeking a position that would allow her to provide for her family and spend time with her daughter. She found this in Oregon Coast Bank.
“They care about you here; they care about your family,” Moore said. “I’ve built some of the best relationships with my coworkers. We support each other inside and outside of work.”
In 2017, Moore became Operations Supervisor at OCB. The bank supported her professional development by sending her to Operations School and later promoting Moore to her current role, AVP Operations Supervisor. Outside work, Moore and her family take time to enjoy the outdoors by hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, and swimming.
When asked what people should know about Oregon Coast Bank, Moore said, “We care. We just truly want to help our community. We’re here to support our community.”
Oregon Coast Bank is the only bank built by and for people on the coast. It was founded when 115 coastal families pooled their resources to build a locally owned and operated bank; now its assets exceed $400M. For decades, OCB has been serving coastal communities, keeping dollars local, and helping businesses succeed.
